These chairs were left in a house purchased by our clients. They got to know the previous owner well and really felt that these chairs deserved to be honored and restored, giving them new life in their home! The concept of the Professor's Pair came about when we saw the brown tweed fabric. We thought it would be fun to add the brown vinyl to evoke the leather elbow patches and covered buttons. And the beautiful decking fabric on the seat represents the silk lining of a jacket. It was especially heartwarming and satisfying to see the joy through the tears when the finished chairs were presented to their owners!
